Slam The Pixels - Slow Flow Of The River
Hey guys! It’s the first episode of the Slam The Pixels (STP) series!
Remember, you also have the right to say, or should I say, slam on the picture. Just keep it constructive and smart. If you have anything to ask about the picture, ask me or the sender. Don’t assume, coz ASSUME only makes an ASS out of U and ME. Keep those nasty stuff to yourself and the neighbor’s dog. Don’t say that I didn’t warned ya…
Okay, today’s STP is from my fellow Malaysian, who wished to be known only as Fedora (she must be a fan of Linux, obviously). This is what she have to say about the picture:
I took this picture at Titiwangsa last year. Guess I’m the first one to submit, eh? Go easy on me!
This is the pixels.
The Slamming:
I can see she has some skills in the art of shutter speed, looking at the soft effect on the water. But she either need a new set of lungs, or a new set of tripod, because she obviously can’t hold her breath long enough to avoid shaking her camera. If you zoom in close enough, you can see that the whole picture is blurred.
I don’t think that she used any filter. If I were her, I’d use a polarizing filter. I’m not sure how to describe it, but from my experiences, it has some impact on your color contrast and gamma level. Anyone know how to describe it?
The Verdict:
Just one word. Nice try. Okay, that makes two of it
What do you guys have to slam?
